Intake Manifold 4G15

The   intake manifold is located between the throttle and the engine intake valve. It is called   the manifold because after the air being taken into the   manifold buffer system, the air flow is divided into various engine cylinders   in here   corresponding to the number of engine cylinders, for example it is respectively   divided into   four if quantity of cylinder   engine is four,   and into five if   that is five. For airway of fuel   injection engines or diesel engines, the intake manifold simply distributes   clean air to each cylinder intake. The intake manifold must distribute air,   fuel mixture or clean air as evenly as possible to each cylinder. For this   purpose, the length of the gas passage in the intake manifold should be as   equal as possible. The intake   manifold should be smooth in order to   reduce gas flow resistance and improve intake capacity.
